San Angelo Police investigate stabbing incident on West Twohig Avenue

One person was taken to the hospital by ambulance and one person was arrested at the scene.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — A 37-year-old man was taken by ambulance to Shannon Medical Center and a 27-year-old man was arrested after a stabbing incident Tuesday at an apartment complex at 422 W. Twohig Ave.

San Angelo Police Department Public Information Officer Richard Espinosa said officers were dispatched to the incident and found the victim with apparent stab wounds. 

The department's Criminal Investigation Division is investigating the case. Espinoza did not have information on the cause of the incident, but said a release will be issued possibly later Tuesday.
