San Angelo Police looking for witness to Nov. 29 incident at Hobby Lobby

The SAPD says the witness saw an exchange between the suspect and a Salvation Army bell ringer. If that's you, the detective investigating wants to speak with you.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — The San Angelo Police Department is looking for the witness who saw an exchange between a suspect and a Salvation Army bell ringer in late November at Hobby Lobby, 2701 Southwest Blvd.

An incident report states officers were called to Hobby Lobby Nov. 29 regarding a threat against the Salvation Army employee who was standing at the northern entrance of the store ringing a bell and taking donations.

Police say a witness observed the exchange outside and intervened.

The detective investigating the incident needs to contact the witness. The witness was said to be driving a red pickup truck and was parked alongside the store near the Salvation Army employee.
