San Angelo Police ask for information/video on Shiloh Street shooting incident that injured 17-year-old

Police say a 17-year-old girl was shot Saturday night on Shiloh Street. Anyone with information or video connected to the incident could help in the case.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — The San Angelo Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that left a 17-year-old girl wounded Saturday night.

Officers responded to a shooting victim call at around 10 p.m. Saturday in the 900 block of Shiloh Street. They found the girl with an apparent gunshot wound and applied first aid at the scene. The victim was taken by ambulance to Shannon Medical Center for treatment of what the SAPD says were non-life-threatening injuries.

The department's Criminal Investigations and Crime Scene divisions and the Drone Team were called to the location to assist Saturday.

An active investigation into the incident is ongoing and more information could be given at a later time, the SAPD said.
