San Angelo Rodeo Parade will wind through downtown streets Saturday

The parade begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, rain or shine.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — It's almost time for the 2024 San Angelo Rodeo parade!

The parade will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday in downtown San Angelo and will be held rain or shine (unless there's lightning in the immediate area).

Riding clubs, antique tractors, wagons, marching bands and floats will be featured in the parade.

Be sure to get downtown early to get a good seat to see the parade, as well as avoid road closures.

Handicapped accessible parking during the parade will be available in the M.L. Leddy's parking lot, 222 S. Oakes St. Handicapped plates/placards are required. Parking will be allowed between 7:30-8:30 a.m. on a first come, first serve basis.

Here's the parade route:

  • Starts at Irving and Concho streets
  • Proceeds east to Oakes Street
  • Left on Oakes to Twohig Avenue
  • Left on Twohig to Chadbourne Street
  • Right on Chadbourne to College Avenue
  • Left on College to Irving Street
  • Left on Irving to Beauregard Avenue
  • Right on Beauregard to Randolph Street
  • Left on Randolph to River Drive
