SAN ANGELO, Texas — Rodeo season in full effect and many carnival-goers are upset about the increase in food prices this year.

As we all know, the supply chain crisis is impacting everyone across the globe including San Angelo businesses.

Bada Bing Wood Fired Pizza is a locally-owned pizzeria in San Angelo. Two key ingredients to making a pizza are pepperoni and flour which are tough to find, according to the business owner.

"We only had to go up a dollar this year on our prices compared to others. A lot of supply chain issues still, finding pepperoni and flour right now are a challenge," owner Mark Phillips said.

He said the business tried to maintain low prices and be affordable to all families that continue to keep coming out to the rodeo carnival and are looking for a place to eat.

"We feel like you can get more bang for your buck with a pizza, a couple of people can eat off of it but we sell a whole 10-inch pizza which is the same type of pizza that you would get if you were in Italy tomorrow," Phillips said.

Even though this crisis is impacting several vendors with the shortage of supplies, Bada Bing Wood Fired Pizza plans to keep each recipe unique.

You can find Bada Bing near the Bahama Bucks and Pierre's on the San Angelo Fairgrounds during the San Angelo Rodeo and carnival.
