SAN ANGELO, Texas — The San Angelo Police Department said Friday it arrested three suspects following a burglary of a motor vehicle reported earlier in the day.
At approximately 03:50 a.m. Friday, officers responded to a call about a burglary of a motor vehicle in the 4800 block of Oaklawn Street. Shortly after receiving a description of the suspect vehicle, an officer on patrol spotted a vehicle matching the description and conducted a traffic stop.
During the stop, officers found stolen property inside the vehicle.
The suspects were arrested and are now facing multiple charges, including but not limited to burglary of a vehicle, unlawful carrying of a weapon and theft of property.
Anakin Acosta, 18, and Ruben Gonzales, 17, were booked into the Tom Green County Jail. One additional juvenile was taken to the Juvenile Justice Center.
