Three injured at Arden/Sherwood intersection, SAPD investigating crash

A Cadillac turned left in front of a Yukon at the intersection, San Angelo Police said at the scene.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — Three people were taken by ambulance to Shannon Medical Center after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Sherwood Way and Arden Road.

San Angelo Police Department Sgt. Cade Solsbery said officers were dispatched to the intersection for the crash where a silver Cadillac ATS headed east in the left turn lane tried to turn on to Arden Road collided with a GMC Yukon traveling west on Sherwood Way.

"The Cadillac had a non-protected left turn with a yellow arrow and made a left turn and failed to yield right of way turning left to the GMC Yukon," Solsbery said. "The driver of the Yukon and the driver and passenger of the Cadillac were all transported to Shannon with apparent minor injuries."

Solsbery said the investigation into the crash is ongoing and no citations were issued at the scene.
