TEXAS, USA — UPDATE (4:45 p.m. Wednesday): The National Weather Service in San Angelo says the severe warned thunderstorm is approaching the west side of San Angelo. Large hail bigger than quarters and 60 mph winds are likely over the next 45 minutes with this storm.

A tornado warning is in effect for portions of northwestern Tom Green County until 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. San Angelo is not in this tornado warning yet, the NWS said, but it is headed in the general direction. NWS says be vigilant and take action if you receive a warning.
