Two dogs fostered to save from July's euthanasia list returned, need new fosters

Colson and Skippy were saved from being euthanized, only to be returned "due to no fault of their own", Concho Valley PAWS said. The two are in need of new fosters.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — Two dogs saved from euthanasia by becoming fostered by July 23 have been returned to Concho Valley PAWS, the rescue organization said on social media

According to PAWS, Colson, a two-and-a-half year old Shepherd mix, and Skippy, an 11-month-old Lab mix were returned from their foster home because the person who signed on to foster them didn't have permission from the relatives they live with to bring the dogs into the household.

The rescue group says both dogs are "in desperate need of fosters or adopters". PAWS says it provides all medical care and supplies for fosters.

For more information, go to cvpaws.org/foster.

We reached out to CV PAWS to ask if the dogs will be placed back on the euthanasia list since being returned. As of 3 p.m. Thursday, calls went to an automated message. A voicemail was left for the organization and we are waiting for a response.
