City of San Angelo opening warming shelter Tuesday night

COSA is looking for volunteers to man the shelter from 9 p.m. Tuesday to 9 a.m. Wednesday.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — The City of San Angelo will be opening a warming shelter from 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31 to 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, at the Carl Ray Johnson Recreation Center, 1103 Farr St.

Volunteers are needed to help run the warming shelter and can sign-up online. The American Red Cross will provide cots.

Animals are permitted, but must not be aggressive or disruptive.
