SAN ANGELO, Texas — The discount retail store is closing about 300 of its 1,136 stores nationwide as part of its Chapter 11 bankruptcy process. That process began last month when the company agreed to be sold to a private equity firm, Nexus Capital Management. The San Angelo location, found on Sunset Drive, is among those slated for closure. Next to the main entrance, there are large closing and discount signs.
When the San Angelo store will officially close is unknown.
