SAPD and ATF execute search warrant, arresting five people

After the San Angelo Police Department's Street Crimes Division and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives executed a search warrant for Kathryn McWilliams, 31, they ended up arresting four other people. Following the investigation, two people were charged with state jail felony possession of controlled substance, two others were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, the final person was arrested for outstanding warrants.

 

San Angelo Police Department's Street Crimes Division and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives executed a search warrant for 31-year-old Kathryn McWilliams for possession of a quantity of methamphetamine.

On Wednesday, Sept. 6, investigators and agents entered the home in the 200 block of Lipan Street, they detained four other people: Michael Korthals, 39, Kayla Browne, 26, Theresa Allen, 39 and Brandon Blanke, 25.

During the search, law enforcement seized a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Following the investigation, McWilliams and Korthals were charged with state jail felony possession of controlled substance penalty Group 1. Browne and Allen were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Blanke was arrested for outstanding warrants.
