HOWARD COUNTY, Texas — A Sweetwater man died Saturday afternoon after the pickup truck he was driving crashed, then rolled over on Interstate 20 in Howard County.
The Texas Department of Public Safety said in a preliminary crash report that Zachary Coe, 29, of Sweetwater, was traveling westbound on Interstate 20 near mile marker 195, when his pickup truck veered off the road.
Coe overcorrected, causing the pickup truck to side skid, then rollover. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the truck.
DPS said Coe was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
