SAN ANGELO, Texas — The lifesaving stem cell donor drive was held Saturday, June 22, trying to find an exact match for Carlie Jo Johnson.
Carlie Jo who was diagnosed with B-cell leukemia and the exact match could bring her chances for remission up.
No match has been found yet and team members that organized the event say that it will be four to six weeks until people start receiving notifications, confirming a match or not.
But hope has not been lost yet.
