Tom Green Co. deputies seize drugs after serving warrant

SAN ANGELO, Texas — The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office made an arrest and seized marijuana, cash and THC after serving a search warrant in San Angelo Friday.

According to a TGCSO release, deputies conducted a search warrant on a home in the 200 block of West 2nd Street, as part of a narcotics investigation.

The execution of the search warrant yielded in excess of eight pounds of packaged marijuana, and more than $1,600 in cash. Additionally, more than 11 grams of THC was seized.

Eric Kolster, 45, was arrested and booked into the Tom Green County Jail for the felony offense of possession of marijuana, between 5 lbs. and 50 lbs., and possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 2 >=4G<400G.

The SO said this is an active investigation and additional charges are possible.

In the release, the Sheriff's Office thanked the Department of Homeland Security for their help in the operation.
