SAN ANGELO, Texas — Concho Valley Transit in San Angelo and Abilene’s CityLink are two of the public transit agencies in Texas that will be supported by $156 million in funding. The money comes from the Texas Transportation Commission and a federal grant won by TxDOT. The funds will be used by agencies across the lone star state for intercity connections and new services. The funding will also be used by transit agencies to build new facilities, including a new transit facility in San Angelo. Abilene’s transit facilities will also be updated using these funds.
