Truck hits bull, then house in Texas Panhandle

Three other vehicles hit the bull laying in the road. Two people were treated at the scene, then taken to a local hospital.

DALLAM COUNTY, Texas — The driver of a pickup truck in the northern most county in Texas struck a bull on US Hwy 87, then crashed into a home.

Texline Fire and Texline EMS responded to the area south of Texline for the collision. While in route, Texline Volunteer Fire & EMS says another report came in about a collision with livestock that had occurred in the same area.

When the department got to the scene, they found out the truck had hit a bull, lost control and collided with the house. Three other vehicles also hit the animal laying in the roadway and received minor to moderate damage. 

Two people at the scene and transported to local hospitals for further treatment. Before leaving the scene, fire personnel helped the homeowner with cleanup and secured the house that was damaged. 

Texas Department of Public Safety, the Dallam County Sheriff's Office and the Texas Department of Transportation also responded to the scene.
