ABILENE, Texas — Workforce Solutions, along with 26 Big Country childcare providers, has distributed around $300,000 in resources to enhance the quality of childcare services in Abilene and the surrounding area. The partnership is aimed at addressing the need for improved childcare in the area.
One beneficiary of the initiative is New Beginnings, an Abilene childcare provider that received a contribution of resources valued at $20,000 from Blake Share Learning.
According to Workforce Solutions, the resources will benefit the children under New Beginnings' care with educational materials, learning aids and equipment. The childcare center will now be able to offer a more enriching and stimulating environment for children, the agency said.
Programs such as this help Big Country childcare centers like New Beginnings overcome financial obstacles and invest in crucial resources the facility needs.
