SAN ANGELO, TX — This coming from Senator John Cornyn’s office. He says the airport will get $896,700 in a federal grant. That money will go to rehabilitating the airport's apron and runway. The funding comes from the FAA’s Airport Improvement Program.
“In our mobile society, we need infrastructure that can keep up with our increasing demands,” Senator John Cornyn said. “Thanks to this grant, San Angelo’s airport will be more efficient and ultimately safer for traveling Texans. I’m proud to have supported this funding in the Senate and grateful to the Trump Administration for supporting Texans traveling to and from San Angelo.”
