SAN ANGELO, TX -- Texas’s Department of Transportation is upping the ante on efforts to corral litter along San Angelo’s loop.
Starting September 1, TxDOT will work with contractors to double trash pick-up efforts.
TxDOT will spend $185,000 in Tom Green County, with crews out to pick up along portions of the loop every day.
TxDOT says they’re trying to come up with new ways to prevent litter, as it’s “Don’t Mess With Texas” campaign nears its 30th anniversary.
