ABILENE, Texas — Abilene Christian is coming off of a win against SFA on Saturday, bringing their record to 4-4 and 3-3 in conference play.
ACU topped Nicholls last year when they were ranked in the top 25 and the Wildcats look to do it again this year.
Nicholls is currently ranked #15 heading into this match-up with a 4-3 overall record and 3-1 conference record.
Coach Dorrel added, "we're playing some of our better football, I think you could argue that, I think the anticipation for us is to take the next step in our program and not shy away from not beating a top 20 team this year, just like we hadn't last year," when the Wildcats topped Nicholls at home, 28-12.
Senior Jeremiah Chambers told us, "we know they are going to be a tough opponent, they always are, we're excited to get the experience and go out there and try and do it again."
ACU travels to Thibodaux, La. to take on Nicholls at John L. Guidry Stadium at 3pm Sat.
