SAN ANGELO, Texas — The Angelo State University Rams baseball team garnered another two All-American nods Monday with Tripp Clark and Caleb Heuertz selected by D2 Baseball.
Clark, a senior accounting major from Waco finished on top of Division II in RBIs this season with 92, ranking 13th in batting average (.428), third in doubles (25) and fifth in hits (98). The nod marks Clark's fourth First-Team All-American honor this season after the American Baseball Coaches Association, National College Baseball Writers Association and the Division II Collegiate Commissioners Association named him to their lists in May.
Heuertz, a senior business administration from San Angelo, was named to the Second-Team All-American and was a key player in the Rams' post-season run. During the playoffs, he pitched 21 innings throughout six games, 16 of which were scoreless while striking out 26 batters.
The Rams finished the 2024 season ranked No. 2 in Division II in all Top 25 polls.
