Angelo State Rams baseball to host youth Spring Break camp

The Lone Star Spring Break Baseball Camp is designed for baseball players wanting to improve their skills during Spring Break.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — Angelo State University's Rams baseball team is hosting a youth Spring Break baseball camp March 11-13 at the ASU Norris Clubhouse and Intramural Complex.
 
The camp is open to children ages 6-13. Cost is $140, if payment and application are received by March 1, and $150 after March 1.

The Lone Star Spring Break Baseball Camp is designed for baseball players wanting to improve their skills during Spring Break. The camp is designed for advanced and novice players and will cover hitting and specific positional skills.
 
Kevin Brooks (NCAA Division II National Coach of the Year), ASU's head baseball coach, will provide instruction, as well as the ASU Baseball coaching staff, who have averaged more than 40 wins a season, and captured last year's 2023 National Championship.
 
What to bring to camp:
• 1 hat (batting gloves for hitting also recommended)
• 1 pair baseball shoes, athletic socks and supporters
• Sneakers
• Glove
• Jacket
• Baseball pants for practice
• 1 bat
 
Space is limited, anyone interested in participating in the showcase should contact Brooks.
