RICHARDSON, Texas — Angelo State University's track & field athlete Shadae Findley has been named the Lone Star Conference's Outdoor Women's Track Athlete of the Week for her performance at the Masked Rider Open.
Findley, a management major from Manchester, Jamaica, ran the fastest 400-meter time in all of NCAA Division II this season with a 53.86 to win the Texas Tech Masked Rider Open in Lubbock. She also posted a 24.58 in the 200m, ranking her sixth in the LSC this season.
Both ASU track & field teams will compete at the Texas Relays this week beginning Thursday, March 28.
