SAN ANGELO, Texas — The San Angelo Rodeo, previously scheduled for February 2021, has been postponed to April 9-24, 2021, according to San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo Association officials at a press conference Wednesday.
The San Angelo Stock Show will still be held Feb. 3-21, as planned; however, it will not be open to the public.
The San Angelo Rodeo parade will be held April 10, the opening Saturday for rodeo performances. The carnival, Premium Sale and vendors will all be in April, as well.
“The San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo Association is dedicated to our mission of providing educational opportunities for livestock exhibitors. We will continue as planned with our livestock show in February, making some modifications to the schedule to accommodate an increase in livestock entries,” Justin Jonas, San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo executive director, said. “We feel moving the rodeo and all other related events provides a better outlook in health safety to our rodeo participants and guests alike. The staff is working endlessly to get information out to all of our vested partners,” he continued.
Ticket information will be updated as it becomes available.
