TEXAS, USA — It has been a mostly quiet day for West Central Texas today. A cold front will move through the area late Wednesday into early Thursday and start some showers and thunderstorms across the area.

Some of the thunderstorms could be strong-to-severe as they pass through. I think with the line of thunderstorms the main threat will be damaging winds, large hail, and the threat of an isolated tornado is low, but not quite zero.

Today has been a warm day in West Central Texas, but after that cold front moves through it will be a lot cooler in the FOX West Texas viewing area. My forecasted high temperatures will be a lot closer to normal for trick-or-treating.

Friday night, I think we could see some thunderstorms in our area, but I think they will mostly be after Friday night football ends. To start November, we will definitely have a more active weather pattern with daily shower and thunderstorm chances.
