One last round of winter precipitation possible before the weekend warmup

Another winter weather advisory has been issued Thursday in the Concho Valley with snow accumulations possible once again.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — A winter weather advisory has been issued for the Concho Valley ahead of more winter weather Thursday. The advisory will go into effect at 6 a.m. Thursday and last until 6 p.m. Thursday.

Additional snow showers will develop overnight and move into the area from the southwest early Thursday.

By the mid-afternoon, snow will transition southeast and come to an end across our region. Areas in the southern Concho Valley may pick up on one to three inches of additional snowfall. Snow will remain south of the Big Country throughout the day, with dry, cloudy and cold conditions expected.

Conditions improve Friday and into the coming weekend with more sunshine and warmer temperatures expected.
