Four newly-confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Taylor County

According to the latest numbers posted by the Abilene-Taylor County Public Health District, four new cases of COVID-19 have been reported, raising the total to 18.

TAYLOR COUNTY, Texas — Four new cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed in Taylor County, bringing the total of confirmed cases to 18. 

According to the latest COVID-19 testing numbers reported by the Abilene-Taylor County Public Health District for Thursday, April 2, the new positives include:
- Female healthcare worker in her 30s.
- Female in her 20s. No known source of exposure.
- Male in his 50s. No known source of exposure.
- Male in his 70s. Receiving care at a local hospital. Investigation pending.
